The hotspot serves a variety of drool-worthy focaccia sambos with delicious cold cuts and cheeses, as well as Italian desserts and wines.

Salumerie founder Donato Salomone opened the store so Sydneysiders could get a taste of his hometown of Naples with sandwiches inspired by his mother’s cooking.

Homemade focaccia bread is crispy on the outside and pillow-soft on the inside and is the perfect container for different filling combinations.

There’s the salami with pecorino, mushroom cream, sun-dried tomatoes and roasted eggplant or the popular chicken cotoletta with crispy schnitzel, pink sauce, Italian slaw and provolone cheese.

The mortadella is another fan favorite with salumi, pistachio pesto, stracciatella, arugula, and crushed pistachios.

Diners can sit outside the deli in the sunshine to enjoy their sandwiches or take one away for the perfect packed lunch.

Salumerie sells its sandwich fillings, from grilled zucchini to charcuterie and cheese, so customers can make their own charcuterie boards at home with fresh ingredients.
