He Philadelphia Flyers They will be an obvious team to watch at the deadline. With the club rebuilding, they have multiple commercial candidates, including Rasmus RistolainenScott Laughton and Morgan Frost.
While the Flyers could sell some pieces, they shouldn’t be against adding them if it helps them in the long run. Looking at their workforce, they have two specific needs they need to address.
First, adding a top-six center for star rookie Matvei Michkov should be on their to-do list. It’s no secret that they could use more skill in the middle, so they should keep an eye on the centers down the stretch.
Another area the Flyers could improve is their goaltending. Their goaltending trio of Samuel Ersson, Ivan Fedotov and Aleksei Kolosov all have save percentages below .900. Ersson has the best save percentage of the three, at .883. Therefore, it would be understandable for the Flyers to keep an eye on goaltenders on the trade market, especially if they have more than a year left on their deals.
However, it will be fascinating to see what moves the Flyers make before the deadline from here.
