Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul winner ‘could be sensationally decided by VOTE’ with money-spinning exhibition fight taking place in Florida with no front-line judges

  • Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul could reportedly be decided by vote
  • The exhibition fight will take place without judges and without official winner
  • The pair are able to knock each other out in eight three-minute rounds
  • But a bookmaker claims ‘if there is no KO or TKO, the winner will be determined by vote’

Floyd Mayweather’s money-grubbing fight against YouTube star Logan Paul could be decided by a ‘vote’, according to a bookmaker.

Rules for Sunday night’s showdown have caused some unrest among fans, with the Florida State Boxing Commission confirming that no official winner will be declared.

There will be no judges in attendance, but the pair can still knock each other out for eight three-minute rounds.

But MyBookie, a bitcoin bookmaker, claims in their disclaimer for the battle that it can be decided by a ‘vote’, although it is not stated who would be involved in this process.

The site, which heavily backs 50-0 star Mayweather to claim a knockout victory, claims, “If there is no KO or TKO, the winner will be determined by vote.”

Florida State Athletic Commission rules also state that both fighters will wear 12 oz gloves, while headgear is not allowed.

The exhibition nature of the fight means Mayweather’s impeccable record in the ring will not be affected if he loses the match, while Paul’s 0-1 history will remain the same even if he wins.

Mayweather is rumored to be making in the region of £70million from the fight and has described it as a ‘legal bank robbery’ with many expecting boxing legend Paul to make light.

However, Paul has revealed that Sunday’s showdown in Miami is much more than an exhibition — and insisted Mayweather won’t “fight so easily.”

Paul’s only previous professional fight was a defeat to fellow YouTuber KSI in November 2019, which he lost by split decision in Los Angeles.

Mayweather and the YouTuber clashed during the pre-fight meeting last month, with Paul’s brother Jake causing a scuffle after stealing the “Money’s” hat during a face-off. Mayweather recently warned Jake that he will put him in a “neck brace” if he disrespects him again.

Logan’s brother is also on the boxing scene and is a YouTuber, with the 24-year-old taking on ex-UFC star Tyron Woodley on August 28.
