Jared Bridegan was shot dead in the middle of the road last February in front of his young daughter.
Today, police announced the arrest of Mario Fernández Saldana, the new husband of Bridegan’s ex-wife, Shanna.
Saldaña was arrested this morning in Orlando after the hitman, Henry Tenon, turned on him and agreed to testify against him.
Tenon was arrested in January for his role.

Today, police announced the arrest of Mario Fernandez Saldana, the new husband of Bridegan’s ex-wife, Shanna, shown with their children.
He lived in a house owned by Saldana at the time of the murder.
Henry Tenon, 61, confessed to having worked with Saldana – his former landlord – to carry out the murder
Prosecutors have yet to confirm a motive for the murder, but Shanna and Jared shared custody of their two children at the time.
They announced the arrest at a press conference where Jared’s widow, Kirsten, took the podium.
‘We are here today feeling many emotions. We are greatly relieved to know that two of the people behind my husband’s murder are now behind bars and are no longer a threat to my family.
‘We are also still angry. Angry that they were walking free while we dealt with the reality that Jared wouldn’t be here for future memories, vacations, tender moments.
‘Angry that our youngest son, who was six months old at the time of his death, will have no recollection of his father.
“Angry that there will be no new memories for Liam, Abi, Bexley, London or anyone who knew and loved Jared.”
He also hinted at more arrests.
“We know there is still a long way to go before everyone involved is truly held to account.”
Shanna, the ex-wife, has not been arrested.
‘We have fought hard for the truth and the world now knows what we have known all along; that Jared really was an innocent victim.
“From day one, those in charge of the investigation promised us that they would be relentless in their pursuit of justice and they have been,” he added.
Police have not yet indicated whether they intend to make additional arrests.
The Microsoft executive was found 3.5 kilometers from Shanna’s home after dropping off the children on February 16. He was on a quiet street, where there were no security cameras.
