Fleur East has confirmed the arrival of her first child with husband Marcel Badiane-Robin after giving birth on the living room floor.
The former X Factor contestant, 36, broke the news in an Instagram post on Sunday, confirming the parents first welcomed a baby girl last week.
Fleur also announced that they had named the newborn Nova and admitted that it was already difficult to imagine what life was like before becoming a mother.
The singer looked radiant in a series of snaps as she held the baby on her chest while out with her husband Marcel, 35.
Detailing the dramatic birth, she wrote: ‘And just like that, our baby girl, Nova, is here!! Our daughter entered the world squatting in the arms of my husband and I on the floor of our living room.

‘One day I will tell you the story of my birth (what a JOURNEY!), but for now we are resting and doing well.’
“I am so grateful to the wonderful midwives who were by my side, my birth partners (my aunt Tina and my husband @marcel__robin) and our entire family who have been supporting us and showering us with love.”
Before adding: ‘It really takes a village! Very grateful to God for this blessing. Our little Nova was born on March 22 and it seems like she’s always been here.’
Fans and celebrity friends rushed to the comments section to send their best wishes with Ellie Leach writing: ‘Oh Fleur, welcome to the world baby Nova.’
While pro partner Vito Coppola said: ‘I LOVE YOU GUUUUYYYYYYSSSSSS Congratulations and welcome to NOVA.’
It comes after she confirmed she was due to give birth to her first child any day and revealed her belly had sagged in preparation for the birth.
First she shared a glamorous video of her and Marcel posing together, showing off her baby bump in a figure-hugging brown dress.
Fleur sported a face full of flawless makeup and full of gold jewelry as she smiled at her husband, who looked handsome in a mesh vest, lounging in a chair.

Her husband Marcel soon joined the party, dressed in a red faux fur coat and sunglasses, as he playfully bathed his wife in diapers.
Fleur showed that despite being heavily pregnant, she still had the moves, twerking to the beat and then turning it down, before playfully “hurting” her back.

She and Marcel have been dating since 2010, having met in a bar in 2009 when he was working as a bartender, but Fleur was dating someone else at the time.
A year later, the singer and fashion designer reconnected and began dating before marrying nine years later in Morocco in June 2019.
Fleur gave a rare insight into their relationship when discussing the proposal, gushing: ‘I said yes right away! How Marcel did everything was just wonderful…
‘We’re in a very traditional Japanese hotel and there were petals on the bed and champagne… Then I turned around and he was there, with the ring.
“He said, ‘Fleur East, will you be my wife?’ I couldn’t believe it. The ring is so beautiful and yellow is my favorite color.”
Their relationship first became public while Fleur was taking part in The X Factor, with a source telling The Sun that the pair were having “secret meetings” during rehearsals.
They said: ‘They’ve been dating for a while and it’s definitely serious. He is incredibly supportive of her success on X Factor and wants her to go all the way, just as she is incredibly supportive of her fashion career.
