Flat Earther spends $20,000 on a DIY experiment that accidentally proves the planet is round

A flat-earth celebrity spent an astonishing $20,000 on a DIY experiment that accidentally proved the planet is round.

Bob Knodel was in the middle of filming a Netflix documentary titled behind the curve When he realized his precious mistake.

In an effort to disprove the mass of research led by NASA experts, he detailed a DIY experiment with a laser gyroscope.

The test involved using a camera to shoot through two holes, with a person standing on the other side and holding a flashlight at the camera.

Mr. Knödel stated that if the light could be seen with the camera, the holes in the fence and the torch all divergent above the ground, then he could draw the positive conclusion that the earth is flat.

However, in a hilarious and costly turn of events, no light could be seen, causing Mr. Knodel to mutter an oddly “interesting” after-error.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Mr. Knodel has since opened up about the experience and what it means to Flat Earth users around the world.

What we found is that when we ran this gyroscope we found that we caught a drift. Drift 15 degrees per hour.

“Now, we were obviously surprised by that,” before acknowledging that the findings were “kind of a problem.”

He added, “Obviously, we weren’t ready to accept that, and so we started looking for ways to disprove that it was in fact a recording of Earth’s motion.”

According to a report before Uniladone Instagram user claimed: “I bet he still won’t kiss her.”

Another said, “Something oddly satisfying about watching a simple opinion dissolve in the face of non-strict methods lol.”

The failed experiment has since gone viral on Reddit, where people have noted that even after the experiment, Mr. Knodel continued to use ‘mental gymnastics’ to claim his conspiracy theory still held true.

“I’ve watched this clip a few times but I still have to see his explanation of how this happened,” one person wrote.
