This is the moment an Australian man continued loading his car with beers while seemingly ignoring the fact that the vehicle was on fire.
In surreal images, the front bonnet of a car is engulfed in flames as black smoke billows from the vehicle parked outside a liquor store in the Sydney suburb of Ermington.
The driver then leaves the nearby store with a case of beer in his hand. He then begins to go about his business as if nothing was out of the ordinary and despite the cries of a nearby passerby yelling at him to “stay away.”
He even opens the driver’s door, which is just inches from the fire, and appears to look for something that has not yet been affected by the fire.
Then, a heroic man runs into hell with a small fire extinguisher to try to put out the flames without much luck.

At this point, the man finally abandons his vehicle, but makes sure not to forget his important beers and takes them with him to a nearby restaurant.
The video continues recording with the car still on fire.
According to the cameraman, New South Wales Fire and Rescue were called and arrived within ten minutes to put out the fire.
The anonymous cameraman said: “I had parked my car at the local shopping center when I noticed smoke from the vehicle on the other side of the driveway.
“Eventually the smoke turned to dark smoke and then a fire erupted from the front of the car.
‘Everyone stayed away from the fire waiting for the fire authority to arrive. We all expected the car to explode, however, that’s when we noticed the owner of the car leaving the local liquor store with a carton of beer under his arm.
“At first, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing: a car on fire, and then a guy comes out with a carton of beer like it’s just another day. I thought he was probably going to call for help, but then he just leaves the beer on the seat! back of his car on fire!’
He added: “It was a mix of shock, disbelief and a bit of humour. I mean, who does that? It was surreal, like watching a scene in a movie where common sense takes a backseat to beer. So Luckily no one was hurt.
