Joanna Gaines is often seen in casual attire while working on home renovations in her hometown of Waco, Texas.
But on Tuesday, the 43-year-old Fixer Upper star threw off her work clothes to relax in a bikini as she took a backwards dip in a pool in Mexico.
The viewer flaunted a muscular figure as she celebrated her 18th wedding anniversary with husband Chip in Mexico.

The beauty — who will launch the Magnolia Network with Chip in 2022 — wore a black and white gingham bra top with fringe straps on the straps.
A black high waisted slip was added because she looked fabulous.
Joanna fell backwards into a pool that was a long rectangular shape with four wide steps.
And she took a deep breath as she closed her nose before hitting the water.

She may be in such good shape because she has to run after five kids: she and Chip have Drake, 16, Ella, 14, Duke, 12, Emmie, 11, and Crew, two.
The caption for her message was full of gratitude.
’18 years. Grateful to be on this adventure with you – happy birthday @chipgaines ❤️,” she said in her caption.
The trip to Mexico was just for them, as they left the kids at home in Waco, Texas.

The images jumped from one to the other as James Taylor’s song Mexico plays. “Ohhhh Mexico, it sounds so sweet with the sun sinking low, the moon so bright with the night burning… making everything all right,” Taylor laments.
The two were also seen dressed up for dinner; she was wearing a blouse with jeans and he was wearing a blue shirt.
Joanna was also featured in a video where she said she “missed” the kids.
And then the star wore a beige and brown peasant dress when she went with Chip for an outdoor dinner and then a walk on the beach.

The two pulled the plug on their hugely popular HGTV reality show Fixer Upper in 2017 after five seasons.
But they soon found a new and bigger opportunity when they struck a deal with Discovery Plus in 2018 to launch their own Magnolia-branded channel.
They will launch an app with digital content in July, while the television channel will not debut until January 2022.
Chip and Joanna took the fame they found on HGTV and used it to launch a brand called Magnolia.
They opened a Magnolia Market store and a Magnolia Table restaurant, as well as a luxury bed and breakfast destination in Waco.

The enterprising couple signed a deal with Target for their own line of homewares, launched a Magnolia Journal, and published design. gardening and children’s books.
Magnolia Network, which replaces the DIY Network, offers original programming, new seasons of some of the former DIY Network shows, and all past episodes of HGTV’s Fixer Upper.
Earlier this year, the duo shared that fame and success haven’t all been easy.
Chip revealed to Oprah Winfrey in March that he “lost a part of myself” because of the fame he gained through Fixer Upper.
The 46-year-old TV star shared that his wife coped better with stardom because it was “no problem” for her.

In a sample clip obtained by People he revealed that he and Joanna were trying to “unpack” his issues after Fixer Upper ended in 2018 and they took a year off.
Oprah brought up the topic by pointing out that “if you don’t know who you are when the fame story hits, you lose yourself.”
She asked her guests, “Did you all start to feel that or did you know you were under house arrest before fame hit?”
The talk show icon elaborated: ‘You were so grounded, had your own life, the four kids and you took your time because you wanted to reground?’
Chip replied, “I want to speak for Jo because she would never say things like this, but she’s so incredibly wise, so incredibly grounded.”

The star said sweetly, “All the stuff you just described is who Joanna is, and to be honest I thought I was too.”
He confessed, that “the truth for Jo and I was that it wasn’t bad for her, but for me to be famous I lost a part of myself, that was real, it was sad.”
Chip continued, “And I’d say it took me a year or two while I was still filming to try and understand exactly what I was losing.”
He noted that “when that year was off I really think Jo and I were able to kind of plop down and really try a little bit to unpack what it was about fame that seemed so incompatible with my personality.”

Fixer Upper started on HGTV in 2014 and managed to run for five seasons and raise the profile of “farmhouse chic” before ending in 2018.
Now the couple is working on their own Magnolia Network with an app set to launch on July 15 this year.
