Five people have been injured in a terrifying gas explosion at a popular campsite in South Australia.
Emergency services were called to Myunga camp, south of Adelaide, shortly after 4.20pm on Saturday following reports of a gas cylinder explosion.
A man and a woman, both aged 25, were airlifted to hospital with serious facial burns, an SA Ambulance spokeswoman said.
Three others were taken by road to hospital: one suffered burns on his back and two on his legs.

Myunga is a picturesque part of South Australia that is popular with locals and visitors for walking, fishing and kayaking.
Visitors also frequent Myunga Beach, which is located just 15 minutes from Myunga Reservoir.
Around 750 people live in the area which is about an hour’s drive from Adelaide.
