An angry airport passenger got more than he bargained for when he confronted a Spirit Airlines employee and received a beating from four of them.
Wild footage from the Baltimore airport around 4:15 pm on Tuesday shows the traveler getting angry with one of the check-in staff and looking for a fight.
“Come on… you’re going to jail today,” he said.
The employee accepted his challenge, but was immediately backed up by three of his colleagues who ganged up on the man almost immediately.
Just as the warring factions are closing in, a Spirit staff member in an unbuttoned white shirt runs up and throws a punch at the passenger.

They manage to subdue him on the ground with the help of barrier ropes, and one of them shouts: ‘I’ll fuck you, bitch, get up.’
From there, the fight is four on one as one of Spirit’s staff pins him in place while the others attack him, before he is knocked to the ground.

But just as he gives up, one of the employees gives him a low blow to the head.
“Wow, they’re about to get sued,” commented the man who recorded the video.
It is still unclear what initially sparked the fight.
Maryland Transportation Authority Police said one of the combatants suffered minor injuries in the fight.

“All parties involved received information about victims’ rights and services, including information on how to file criminal charges at the local commissioner’s office,” he said.
Spirit said the fighting personnel were not airline employees but contractors employed by an outsourcing company.
“Our supplier has suspended four of its employees involved pending an investigation into the matter,” he said.
“We do not tolerate violence of any kind and will take appropriate action as necessary once the supplier investigation is completed.”
