A fish and chip shop worker has become an internet celebrity after videos of her work were shared on TikTok.
A trader’s fish and chip shop, in Bewdley, in the Wyre Forest District of Worcestershire, has gone viral on TikTok for point-of-view videos of its customers’ orders with the same employee serving.
In one clip, which racked up more than 24 million views, the blonde staff member acted out a scene with a fake customer who was ordering fish and chips.
Many TikTokers commented that the interaction sounded like a scenario that a foreign language student might have to listen to and translate for an exam.
Meanwhile, others commented on how “polite” both people were in the clip, with some also gushing over the “iconic” and “beautiful” staff member.

The viral video begins with a fake customer, who is presumably a member of staff, ordering fish and chips while filming the interaction.
The woman behind the counter asked, ‘What size do you want? We’re making haddock, would you like to try it?
The customer confirmed that he would like to try the haddock and ordered curry and a Sprite to go with it, ending each sentence with “please”.
At the end of the interaction, the staff member said, “Have a nice day.” And the client responded: ‘Cheer up too, goodbye.’
Despite the mundane interaction, the clip gained a lot of attention and people rushed to the comments to leave their thoughts.
One person said: “This looked like English learning material for beginners.”
Another added: “Sounds like a scenario a French student would have heard and translated for their exam.”
