Giantscraft Studios has announced Ecumene Aztec, a new first-person RPG in development for PC and scheduled for release in 2025.
During the events in Ecumene Aztec, you will play the role of an Aztec who is trying to withstand the onslaught of the Spanish conquistadors in your city in Central America. Giantscraft promises “a strong narrative, RPG-inspired progression system with blood sacrifices, gritty combat, stealth and crafting”.
Other features include character upgrades via blood sacrifices, three unique character classes (Jaguar Warrior, Eagle Warrior, and Snake Warrior), climbing system, stealth-based gameplay, and we will share more details as development progresses.
