Talking about adorable moments

The Wednesday before the Masters usually offers the sweetest moments of the week, when players head to Augusta’s par-3 course with their wives or girlfriends and their children acting as caddies.

The glamorous WAGs and other family members wear the famous white jumpsuits worn by caddies at Augusta, and some even try to have a couple of drinks.

And yesterday was no different when families returned to the course.

The Golden Bear is really cute.

Augusta National has seen many iconic moments, but Jack Nicklaus may have given it the most adorable.

As he was waved into position for the traditional photo of the honorary starters and their caddies, the 18-time major winner shared a loving moment with his 64-year-old wife, Barbara, who is on the bag.

“I have my caddy right here,” he declared as he put an arm around her shoulders.

An incredible player and a loving husband. Get yourself a man who can do both, ladies!

And we go!

Gary Player, 88, and Jack Nicklaus, 84, joke about the difficulties of bending over to put the ball on the tee at an older age.

But even well into their 80s, both icons hit decent tee shots. You never lose it…not that I ever had it.

Last but not least is Tom Watson, the young gun of this trio at the age of 74, and after some digging Nicklaus also finds his way.

And with that, Augusta President Fred Ridley declares the 88th Masters championship underway!

When two worlds collide

It’s not just golfers joining in on the action…

At one point last summer there was hope that by the time the game’s best players arrived at Magnolia Lane once again, the great divide would have healed itself.

Talks between the PGA Tour and the PIF continue around a mergerbut it is the Saudi-backed circuit that has proven to be the best poker player.

LIV again bet big in its offseason on the winner, shelling out $500 million to lure reigning Masters champion Jon Rahm into its plight, but the big gamble could pay off at Augusta National.

Greg Norman’s band of merry men will visit Augusta for the second year since he tore the golf world in two. Except this year they won’t be made fun of. This time they come with a happier step.

tiger test

Many of you are probably wondering what the weather delay means for Tiger. And honestly? It doesn’t look good.

The 15-time Major winner will now not tee off until 3:54 pm ET/8:54 pm BST, meaning his chances of finishing with a total of 18 today are… zero.

The 48-year-old will have to play the remainder of his first round tomorrow morning before returning to the course for his second. With probably between four and six holes left to play in addition to the 18 holes tomorrow, it will be a difficult task for Woods and his body.
