Firerose has shared a touching post about her past battle with addiction, days after the singer’s husband, Billy Ray Cyrus, filed for divorce.
Posting to Instagram on June 1, the Australian musician, 35, celebrated eight years of sobriety by sharing an uplifting message in which she praised God for helping her stay strong.
‘8 years sober today by the grace of God! 8 years ago God did a miracle in my life,’ the After The Storm singer began.
‘One day at a time since then I have given him my will and my life. “He has been loving and faithful in all of his promises and has never left my side,” she continued, adding, “It is only through God’s love and His amazing grace that I am able to remain sober and share that hope with others who still suffer in The addiction”.
Firerose said she “couldn’t be more incredibly grateful” for the “gift” of sobriety, before sharing an inspiring message for fans who may be facing adversity in their own lives.

Accompanying her emotional message was a photo of Firerose sitting in her car staring defiantly into the camera.
She looked typically glamorous in an embroidered black blouse, dreamcatcher-inspired gemstone necklaces and a dramatic makeup look.

Firerose and Billy Ray married in October of last year, but filed for divorce in late May, TMZ reported.
She was his third wife; He was married to Cindy Smith from 1986 to 1991 and Miley Cyrus‘ mother Tish from 1993-2022.
The divorce case states that there are no minor children between them.

TMZ reported that Cyrus claimed irreconcilable differences and “inappropriate marital conduct” were the reasons behind their split.
Additionally, Cyrus requests an annulment, alleging that the marriage was entered into fraudulently.
He listed their separation date as May 22, 2024 in divorce papers, which were filed last month.
In court documents obtained by E!, Cyrus says she is seeking an annulment because she “consented to the marriage based on fraud on the part of the wife, who would not have entered into the marriage if she had known about it.”
TMZ also reports that it appears Billy wanted Firerose out of his house by May 24.
He is willing to pay up to $500 per night for 10 days to cover lodging costs.
After the 10-day period has passed, he is willing to pay $5,000 a month for her to purchase a suitable new home in Tennessee.
Billy is willing to make payments within 90 days or once his divorce is officially finalized, whichever comes first. Payments must be made on the first of the month.
