Firefighters rescued a husky named Ace who got stuck in a popular Bunnings backyard chair.

A NSW Fire and Rescue team faced a familiar challenge over the weekend when the puppy became trapped in the metal spokes of an Acapulco chair at a home in Queanbeyan, near Canberra.

They finally used a hydraulic cutting tool to carefully free Ace.

FRNSW shared images of the cub on Monday night, which appeared to be unharmed and licking pats from the team that freed it.
