On 7 November 2010, we suggested that police officers AZ12 and AZ14 had deliberately cited song titles as evidence in Chelsea solicitor Mark Saunders’ investigation. The Independent Police Complaints Commission has since determined that this was not the case.

We accept that none of the officers showed any disrespect towards the deceased, his family or the court and we apologize for any distress caused.
