Finally the new 'Bond' is revealed! Former Dr Who star David Tennant looked dapper and sipped a martini as the actor transforms into the 007 spy for Comic Relief sketch on Friday

David Tennant scrubbed up well as he transformed into the next James Bond for an upcoming Comic Relief sketch, due to air on Friday.

The actor, 52, cut a dashing figure as he donned a black button-down jacket with a red trim and buttons.

Pairing the smart jacket with an all-black suit, the Doctor Who star enjoyed his martini, shaken without stirring, as he fully embraced the character.

Balancing the martini on the roof of his Comic Relief Aston Martin, David made sure he would travel in style in the vehicle.

Viewers will have the opportunity to get their hands on the stylish ride for themselves as Chris Evans and CarFest have donated the vehicle to the event.

David will join a host of co-presenters for the charity night, while Sir Lenny Henry will front the fundraising show for the last time this year, after 39 years of presenting the comedy telethon.

Co-presenters are also Joel Dommett, Maya Jama, Davina McCall, Paddy McGuinness, Rosie Ramsey and Romesh Ranganathan.

The night is set to be full of fun with hysterical skits including David’s role as Bond.

Some of the country’s favorite stars will host an evening of music, entertainment and comedy to make the audience laugh.

Ahead of Sir Lenny’s departure, the night will also feature a skit about the hunt for his replacement, featuring familiar faces and Sir Lenny performing I’m Just Len, his own version of the Oscar-nominated song I’m Just Ken from Barbie- the hit movie.

The Traitors also returns as a cast of award-winning actors and comedians have signed up to play some of the most iconic characters from series two in a spoof film version of the hit BBC One show.

With a star-studded cast of celebrities including Suranne Jones transformed into Claudia Winkleman, The Traitors: The Movie will bring some of the most iconic moments from the series to life with some of the country’s favorite contestants.

Explaining why Red Nose day is worth watching, Lenny told the BBC: ‘Because it’s going to be packed with content, all your favorite presenters and loads of special surprises.

‘It will probably be the best night of my life because it’s my last year hosting and I know there will be lots of surprises.

‘So you have to tune into that. Plus, all the incredible films that the brilliant team are creating and putting so much hard work into. It’s going to be a lot of fun.’

Speaking about this being his last year hosting the show, Sir Lenny told BBC News: “I think I’ll be incredibly proud because it’s been a big part of my life and to see a new generation of people taking it forward – we’ve got Maya Jama, David Tennant, Romesh Ranganathan – there are so many people coming up.

“It’s going to be great to leave knowing there’s — I’m getting emotional now — a new group of people taking over and treating it the way we did.”

He also said: ‘This is a good time to part ways and allow a new generation to pick up the baton and move it a bit further’.
