Tori Spelling has been candid about where she stands with her ex Dean McDermott and his new girlfriend Lily Calo following the former couple’s turbulent split.
The Beverly Hills 90210 alum, 50, who filed for divorce from Dean, 57, after 18 years of marriage in March, said Now enjoy family meals with the new lovebirds.
‘I really like Lily. Not bad. You know, it’s different. Good?’ the star said about the meetings on the latest episode of her podcast. spelling errorwhich fell on Monday.
“We’re co-parenting really well right now,” she added, referring to herself and Dean’s five children: Liam, 17, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11 and Beau, 7.
Tori also recounted the explosive fight between her and Dean that led to their split, during which the actress smashed a baked potato on the floor.

The actress said she and Dean began arguing after returning home from a day on set in June 2023.
Dean allegedly made a comment to her that he “knew would be really painful to hear.”
The actress did not reveal Dean’s exact words, but she recalled that his comment affected her deeply, to the point that she angrily smashed a loaded baked potato she had been preparing onto the kitchen floor.
“This guttural scream came out of me,” Tori recalled. ‘It wasn’t even like a sexy scream, like running in a horror movie. He was like a beast. It wasn’t pretty at all.
‘And I said, ‘Fuck you!’ And I took my most prized possession at the time, my roast potato. It was loaded perfectly and I slammed it into the ground.
After his outburst, a wave of regret washed over Spelling. She retreated to a bedroom, reflecting that she and Dean had been sleeping apart for about three years, a decision she attributed to him.
A ‘fired up’ Dean began pounding on the closed door before entering the bedroom through an outside entrance that Tori had neglected to secure.
“Then he came in and was very, very upset. And he said, “I want a divorce. This is over.” And I said, “Okay. Great. Okay.”

That same day, Tori recalled, Dean publicly announced his divorce via an Instagram post, which he only found out about when his 15-year-old daughter informed him about it.
He added: “I felt like this giant rock had been lifted from my chest. I could breathe deeply and I thought, “Oh my God. He said it, so now I’m free.” . . He did it and now I can move on. He said it, let’s go. Yes. He needed this. ‘”I couldn’t do it myself.”
Dean deleted the post the next morning, but by then, news of the split had gone viral. The couple “just carried on as if nothing had happened.”
Last month, the same day Tori Spelling recorded the debut episode of her podcast, she made a surprise on-air call to Dean McDermott to inform him of her divorce filing.
A day later, Dean broke his silence about filing for divorce and said he and Tori were “all good.”
The former couple met on the set of the television movie Mind Over Murder in 2005.
There was an instant connection, even though they were both already married.
“We had this period of very, fast, passionate falling in love,” the actress said on her podcast, describing it as a “fast and furious romance.”
She praised Dean for letting her be herself. “I just remember I could show him.”
Continuing, he explained: “It wasn’t like this cute, giggly, ‘this is what people want me to be’ thing. I could have been like, loud and like, ugh, Tori’s body type. I could have had a bird’s mouth,” he claimed.
‘I’m not just Donna Martin, the perfect good girl. I could have a bad girl inside me and she was fine. And he liked all those sides and he liked how smart she was and he accepted me.
In May 2006, Tori and Dean married.
In a scoop revealed by DailyMail.com in October, it was revealed that Dean had embarked on a new relationship with Lily, a 34-year-old account manager. He has since moved in to live with her.
Not to be outshone, shortly after pictures of Dean with his new partner surfaced, Tori was spotted on a date with her CEO friend, Ryan Cramera.
However, despite these events, Dean expressed his enduring love for Tori and has no regrets about their shared past in a candid interview with DailyMail.com.
The couple met on the set of the television movie Mind Over Murder in 2005 and married in May 2006; seen in 2006
Spelling and McDermott share five children: Liam, 17, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, seven. McDermott is also father to his son Jack, 25, whom he shares with his ex Mary Jo Eustace, 61.
In her divorce request, the influencer requested exclusive physical custody of her five minor children and shared legal custody, seen in 2019.
He said: ‘It was a total fairy tale. I mean, it was a beautiful love story. Love at first sight and getting married in the most beautiful way possible.’
In the interview, Dean described how his marriage imploded as he and Tori grew apart, and his problems were worsened by his addiction to alcohol and prescription drugs.
“All Tori has done to this day is want me to be happy and healthy and I inflicted a lot of harm and pain on that woman,” he told DailyMail.com.
“Today I take responsibility for that. And it’s the biggest amendment I’ll ever have to make in my life.”
