A horror comedy film that has been branded “unreleasable” is finally hitting theaters and people have been left stunned.
Despite failing to find a distributor following its completion in 2023, the rights to screen the shocking film, a remake of a 1984 film of the same name, have now been acquired by US company Cineverse.
The Toxic Avenger shocked critics with its graphic content and gore, but still earned an impressive 92 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
It saw Game Of Thrones star Peter Dinklage give a remarkable performance as Winston, a terminally ill janitor, who accidentally fell into a vat of toxic waste causing severe deformities.
He then decided to take out his anger on those who had wronged him, becoming a unique superhero in the process.
The film also starred Kevin Bacon, Elijah Wood, Jacob Tremblay and Taylour Paige in key roles.

Another impressed reviewer added: “This cast seems to be having a lot of fun with their roles, and their entertaining assault of absurd vulgarity and buckets of gooey, gooey, thick amounts of gore is hysterical ecstasy.”
