The girl suffered a large cut on her knee and the boy had a swelling in the face. The woman sustained a leg injury and all three were taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment.

The driver's breath test was positive for alcohol and she returned an alleged value of 0.09.

Her passengers – two children aged eight and ten years – were not injured.

She was accused of mid-range PCA and her license has been suspended. She was released on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, to appear in the local court of Parramatta.

The investigation is continuing and the police expect to institute further charges.

A risk report has been submitted to the Ministry of Family and Community Services.
