Tom Hanks appeared on this weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live, hosted by Martin Short.

The latest installment marked Short, 74,’s fifth time hosting the comedy series and, in addition to Tom, 68, featured guest appearances from Scarlett Johansson, Paul Rudd and John Mulaney.

During the show’s recurring Five-Timers Club segment, which featured the Only Murders In The Building star, fans noticed the Forest Gump icon’s shaking hands.

A fan commented on a promotional post on SNL’s official Instagram account: ‘Is Tom Hanks’ hand shaking?’

A user named Lara joined the thread to add: ‘I noticed it too!!! And now I’m worried.”

“He was on Graham Norton’s show a while ago and I noticed him there too…” said a third person.

Meanwhile, one person reasoned: ‘Considering he’s almost 70 years old! Yes, older people’s hands shake a little.’

It’s not the first time fans have expressed concern about the Hollywood leading man’s shaking hands.

In June 2022, he appeared unable to control his shaking right hand as he held a microphone and spoke while promoting Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis movie.

Hanks tried to control the shaking by placing his left hand on the bottom of the microphone, below his right. It also briefly changed hands.

Lisa Kudrow recently criticized Tom’s new film, Here, condemning the use of digital rejuvenation.

The 61-year-old actress said the new fantasy drama film was an “endorsement of AI.”

In the film, which premiered on October 25, Hanks reunited with his Forrest Gump co-star Robin Wright in a multi-generational story, which featured the cast as their characters across multiple eras.

This followed last year’s SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes calling for regulation of modern technology.

The Friends star appeared on a recent episode of Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast and criticized Hank and director Robert Zemeckis’ film.

“They filmed it and they were able to film the scene and then watch the playback of them when they were younger, and it was ready for them to see,” he explained on the podcast.

‘And all I got from that was this is an endorsement for AI and, oh my God. It’s not like, “Oh, it’s going to ruin everything,” but what will be left? Forget actors, what about up-and-coming actors? They will limit themselves to granting licenses and recycling,” he argued.

Kudrow continued: ‘Putting that aside completely, what work will there be for human beings? So what?

‘Will there be some kind of subsistence stipend for people and they won’t have to work? How can it be enough?
