An urgent public appeal has been made about the whereabouts and welfare of a baby missing since New Year’s Eve.
Seven-month-old River Tille was last seen in the Wollongong suburb of Warrawong, south of Sydney, on December 31.
New South Wales police were notified of River’s disappearance on Thursday after authorities spent more than a week trying to locate the baby.
Police immediately launched investigations and have serious concerns for River’s welfare due to his young age.
River is described as Caucasian, with a light complexion and little blonde hair.
It is not known what he was last wearing at the time of his disappearance.
