Missing: Lucy Morris, 17, from Harrogate
A family is increasingly concerned about the disappearance of a 17-year-old girl who has not been seen for two weeks.
North Yorkshire Police have issued an urgent appeal to help locate Lucy Morris, who was last seen on 15 May.
Lucy, 17, from Harrogate, was supposed to travel to Leeds to stay with a friend but has not been seen since.
The teen has not contacted anyone since Saturday, May 22.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said: ‘Disconcertingly, there has been no texting or social media contact from her since May 22, which is strange and concerns for her safety.’
Lucy is described as white, six feet tall, with blue eyes, slim build, and shoulder-length blond hair.
She has a tattoo on her left hand that reads ‘blessed’.
It is not known what clothes she was wearing when she went missing.
In addition to the police investigation in the Harrogate area of North Yorkshire, the West Yorkshire Police are also helping the search for missing persons in the Leeds area.
Anyone with information or a possible sighting is urged to call North Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting reference number 1221012235.
