Daley Sinkgraven is back in the picture at FC Twente, reports stern. The current Bayer Leverkusen player is allowed to leave his employer because of his expiring contract.
Last summer, 27-year-old Sinkgraven was also linked to a departure from Bayer Leverkusen. There was no departure at the time. FC Twente and Feyenoord, among others, were mentioned as a possible new destination.
The former player of Ajax and SC Heerenveen is not a fixed value in Germany. He has only made four Bundesliga appearances this season. Sinkgraven has been playing for Leverkusen since 2019, where he was reunited with Peter Bosz.
FC Twente may have to look for a new left back, because Gijs Smal has an expiring contract. FC Twente has an option to extend the contract for one season, but Smal will still have to sell in order to receive a transfer fee. In addition, mercenary Anass Salah-Eddine returns to Ajax.
