The FBI raided the home of New York Police Commissioner Edward Caban, while federal agents raided several of Mayor Eric Adams’ top aides on Wednesday.
Agents searched Caban’s home on the same day that the homes of New York City Deputy Mayor Phil Banks and Sheena Wright were also raided by federal authorities.
The raids took place simultaneously at Wright’s home in Hamilton Heights, in upper Manhattan, and at Banks’ property in Hollis, Queens.
Banks’ brother, former MTA official and current lobbyist Terence Banks, was also targeted.
Meanwhile, another top Adams aide, Timothy Pearson, has reportedly had his phones subpoenaed, according to the The New York Post.
