A 75-year-old man has been charged with murder after a father was shot to death in front of his three children during a road rage incident in North Carolina.
Terrell Giddens is accused of killing Jeffery Guida, 40, after an argument got out of control at a highway intersection in Catawba, North Carolina, on October 12.
He allegedly pulled out his rifle in the middle of the road rage incident and shot the father of three to death.
He then reportedly fired his gun at the truck where Guida’s children, ages 13, 11 and two, were.
Fortunately, none of the children were injured in the attack, authorities said.

Giddens has been charged with murder and three counts of attempted first-degree murder.
Detectives said he fled the scene, but police located him and detained him.
“The suspect was charged, shot the victim and then shot at the victim’s car,” said Aaron Turk with the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office.
Herb Perce, a defense attorney, who was in the courtroom when Giddens appeared Monday, said according to Fox 12, “It looks like the guy just snapped.”
It’s a shame they killed the man. “It is a disgrace and this man will probably spend the rest of his life in prison,” he added.
Neighbors were shocked by the shooting that occurred at the intersection of Island Point Road and North View Harbor Drive in Catawba.
One said his heart “goes out to you” and another added it was “amazing.”
Giddens was not released on bail and told the court he would hire his own attorney.
