The father who had cut off both ears in a gruesome machete attack while protecting his son against bullies & # 39; died in hospital, his family confirmed.
Sajed Choudry, 42, was left in a coma after the violent attack on him and his son Ahsan Choudry, 24, in November.
The horrifying image of Mr. Choudry Snr lying in his hospital bed, wrapped in bandages after surgery to reattach his ears, was greeted with shocks last month.
Today his family confirmed that he lost his fight for life this afternoon, reported the Lancashire Telegraph.
His condition deteriorated further after he had developed a large blood clot in his heart.
Earlier today, one of his sons, Mohsan Choudry, 20, was excused for a lawsuit for accusing the possession of a knife and damaging a car tire after magistrates had heard that his father did not expect to survive the day.
Gareth Price, defensively, said that Mohsan Choudry had been to court, but would like to be on the father's side.
Sajed Choudry, 42, is deceased. He was left in a coma after the violent attack on him and his son in late November
Price said: "His uncle is in hospital and he told me this morning that there are serious concerns that Mr. Choudry will not survive the day."
Mr. Choudry is in a coma after both ears are cut off and a collapsed right lung and a bleeding in the brain has contracted.
The four-year-old underwent a 14-hour operation to reattach his ears, using a skin graft from his legs to complete the operation.
He was unable to breathe on his own and was put on a life-supporting machine.
Mariya Choudry, the daughter of Sajed, said the family was in shock about the attack, which took place in the quiet street where they live in Blackburn, on Tuesday, November 27 at 22:30.
Mrs. Choudry (22), who spoke to his bed last week, said: "It all comes because my brother has problems with bullies at school.
& # 39; My father was attacked for the first time six months ago. On Tuesday evening Ahsan left around 22:30 to buy cigarettes.
When he was on his way back, my father heard shouts, he looked at the CCTV and saw that he was stabbed. He ran outside to help. & # 39;

In 15 years on the street in Blackburn, where they live and where the attack took place, the family said they had never experienced anything like it
Mariya told how her father is a community man & # 39; was and an active member of Neighborhood Watch.
At present, doctors are trying to reduce my father's medication to see if they can take him out of the coma, but it's a slow process, & # 39; she said. & # 39; All we can do is hope.
Sajed's son Ahsan also stays in the hospital after half of his hand is cut off and he suffers from his head.
Earlier, Mariya, a health care worker, said she had been lying at her father's bed since he went to the hospital. Her mother and her two younger brothers are incredibly upset.
She said last week: "I am completely numb now. I can not describe how I feel. I have lived in that street for 15 years and have never seen anything like it.
"He is really sick and we do not know what will happen to him. On Saturday my father stopped breathing and they had to fit a life-supporting machine.
& # 39; My mother has let me stay here because I am strong enough to process how he is.
She tries to stay strong for the family, but she finds it very difficult. She is broken. She does not know what to do with herself. & # 39;
