The father of tennis bad boy Bernard Tomic was arrested after allegedly caught drunk driving.
John Tomic drove Saturday night on Ferry Road in Southport on the Gold Coast when he was run over by the police for a random breath test.
The 55-year-old was reportedly on his way home from SeaFire, an international fireworks competition in Surfers Paradise.

Officers conducted the on-site breath test, with Mr. Tomic recovering a positive value for the low range that was just above the legal limit of 0.05.
He was then taken to the Surfers Paradise police station and charged with one count of drunk driving.
Mr. Tomic is expected to appear on the Southport Magistrates Court on June 20.
This is not the first time that Mr. Tomic has broken into the law.
Six years ago, he was sentenced to jail after running into his son & # 39; s tennis partner Thomas Drouet.
