Horror as dad is beaten to death in front of his 12-year-old son on his doorstep while protecting his other son, 14, when a college brawl escalated and a gang arrived saying, ‘S ‘he’s not going to fight, we’re going to fight you’

A father was killed on his doorstep as he tried to defend his 14-year-old son after a fight broke out at a local school and a mob invaded his Maryland home.
Christopher Wright, 43, was embroiled in a fight that started at Brooklyn Park Middle School and moved to his Anne Arundel County home, claims his fiancée Tracy Karopchinsky.
She says her 14-year-old son got into a fight with another teenager at school on Friday, before three teenagers and two adults showed up at her house.
Her husband told the group that their son wouldn’t fight, to which they reportedly replied, “If he’s not going to fight, then you’re going to fight us.”
Wright was horribly beaten by the mob, watched by his 12-year-old son who ran to help him shouting “daddy, daddy, daddy” and taken to a trauma center. He was pronounced dead on Saturday after suffering head trauma.

The fight was filmed by security cameras belonging to the victim and a neighbor, WBAL-TV reported.
Karopchinsky said: “My dad and I tried to get in front of the camera to watch, and the first video that pops up is of my 12-year-old son yelling ‘Daddy, daddy, daddy’ and running out of the house to go. on the street and help his father.
“I couldn’t watch after that. I just couldn’t.
She said her three children were at home when their father was attacked.
The victim’s sister-in-law, Kristin Karopchinsky, said: “I will never forget the sound, I will never forget the noise my nephews made when we had to tell them he was gone.”
School officials acknowledged the fight took place and said they were working to resolve the issue.
They are working with the police on the investigation. Police said charges could be brought against those involved in the brutal assault.
Anne Arundel County Police spokesman Marc Limansky said, “Anyone who aided or abetted or was an accomplice to the prime suspect or suspect in this incident would be guilty.”
Karopchinsky pointed to the devastating effects her husband’s death would have on her children and the children who attacked him.
She said: ‘They didn’t just ruin our lives. Their lives will be changed forever. Their parents’ lives are going to be changed forever, and no one thinks about it right after a fight.
‘It’s everywhere, and somewhere, we as parents let these kids down […] It is not the responsibility of the school. It is our responsibility,” she said.

She said her partner was a devoted dad who loved the stars and gardening, and said WJZ she had been engaged to her partner for eight years.
She said the world “lost a light” when he died.
Their family is planning a candlelight vigil in memory of Christopher Wright.
