Father confronts pro-choice protesters by quizzing them on ‘what is a woman’ in new documentary
A conservative commentator confronts pro-abortion protesters grilling them about ‘what is a woman’ in a new documentary that claims pediatricians who are helping teens transition to a different gender are prescribing a hormone blocker that has been used for chemical castration.
Matt Walsh, a father of four who hosts a podcast for The Daily Wire, said he’s been asking the question for years and has yet to get a straight answer.
‘What is a woman? Can someone tell me what a woman is? Walsh asked protesters as he walked the route with a megaphone at the Women’s March last year.
One protester shouted back: ‘If you are not here for the women, we ask you to leave!’ Others remained silent.
The protesters’ reactions are the focus of a new Daily Wire documentary, ‘What Is a Woman?’ which will be released on June 1. A book with the same title will be published on June 14.
The trailer was released on Saturday, the day hundreds of thousands of people are expected to march in Washington, DC and across the country for a ‘Bans Our Bodies’ Abortion Rights Day of Action rally.
The event, organized by the Women’s March, comes after Politico released a leaked draft opinion suggesting the Supreme Court is ready to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Walsh Counter protested at the Women’s March in 2021 and asked: ‘What is a woman?’
On Saturday, Walsh told Dailymail.com that while he will not appear at today’s march, he said his message will be clear in the form of billboards along the route.
“We thought it would be important for people marching today to see this message,” Walsh explained.
A billboard promoting the show has been installed along the Washington DC march route, along with another in New York City.
“If you ask this question, what is a woman, they feel uncomfortable and they just can’t answer it,” Walsh told Dailymail.com.
“Some of these activists that we have come across become militant, ruthless, when we ask this question,” he said.
Walsh added that he found that the ‘average person’ supports his message, but won’t always speak out for fear of backlash and being cancelled.
Walsh said asking the question is just the beginning, a “gateway to a larger issue of gender ideology” and how it affects our children.
In the trailer for the documentary, Walsh talks with pediatrician Dr. Michelle Forcier about puberty blockers used to help adolescents transition to a different gender, which the doctor explains are completely reversible.
Walsh then asks him specifically about the drug Leuprolide Acetate, also known as ‘Lupron’, which he points out is also used to ‘castrate sex offenders’.
In the trailer, Dr. Forcier appears to close the interview.
The drug is also used to treat symptoms associated with advanced prostate cancer, to treat endometriosis, and is used, along with other medications, to treat anemia.

What is ‘Lupron’ leuprolide acetate, a medicine used to help adolescents change gender?
Leuprorelin acetate is an LHRH agonist that is currently most commonly used in chemical castration.
Leuprolide is also used to stop early puberty (precocious puberty) in boys.
Helps delay sexual development (such as breast/testicle growth) and the start of menstrual periods.
It also helps slow early bone growth to increase the chance of reaching normal adult height.
Leuprolide works by decreasing the amount of sex hormones a boy’s body makes (estrogen in girls, testosterone in boys).
In the documentary, Walsh also talks to Scott Newgent, a 47-year-old transgender man living in Texas, about whether or not there is “social contagion” among transitioning teens to resolve their issues.
“I am a biological female who medically transitioned to look like a man. But I will never be a man.
Newgent is the founder of TReVoices, a group of trans educators opposing radical gender activism and seeking to educate politicians and families about the reality of gender dysphoria.
“He caught me at 42,” Newgent said, pointing at Walsh. Your son has no chance.
Walsh has spoken out against trans issues regularly on her show and during appearances on Fox News and Dr. Phil.
In a video response to the HBO documentary ‘Transhood’, Walsh said that parents who support their trans children are an ‘unhinged’ form of ‘child abuse’.
Earlier this year, trans activists accused Walsh of trying to lure them into participating in an anti-trans documentary, Well-informed person informed.
Eli Erlick told the news outlet that she and her 14-year-old transgender son were recruited to appear in the documentary.
Walsh, who has a history of controversial tweets and on-air comments, was suspended from Twitter for 12 hours earlier this year for tweeting that Jeopardy champion Amy Schneider and UPenn swimmer Lia Thomas were men.
“The greatest Jeopardy female champion of all time is a man,” Walsh wrote in a tweet on Dec. 30, according to the Daily Wire. ‘The best female college swimmer is a man. The first female four-star admiral in the Public Health Service is a man. Men have dominated the women’s high school track and the women’s MMA circuit. The patriarchy wins in the end.’

“I don’t refer to a single person as two people,” Walsh wrote in another tweet. ‘Everyone else can run around like crazy if they want, but I’m not participating. No thanks.’
The tweets went against Twitter’s “hateful conduct” policy, which prohibits users from using “violence” based on “race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, sexual orientation and gender identity.”
Walsh appeared on Tucker Carlson just minutes after being suspended.
“I just found out five minutes ago, right before it went on air, that I was suspended on Twitter because I pointed out that biological males are male,” Walsh said.

‘And, for me, this is all part of the game here. That this is what leftism is and if you criticize it they will shut you down because they realize it’s not like they can participate intellectually. It’s not like they could defend, intellectually, any of the examples you just played.
