Citizen’s attorney, Michael Copley, QC, told Brisbane’s Supreme Court that the Crown’s case was difficult to judge, but not “of overwhelming force.”

“There seem to be some problems in the air,” said Mr. Copley on Tuesday.

These included the cause of death, which caused death and for what purpose death was caused.

He said that Burger has no substantial ties to Australia, but no criminal record.

The Crown was not against the bail application.

Justice Helen Bowskill agreed to release Burger on bail, saying it was no longer justified to take him into custody.

Burger has to live with his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, has no contact with his wife and enters both his passports.
