A father of two was killed in Atlanta after being shot in the neck during a car robbery on Tuesday.
Terrick Matthews, 24, was in the passenger seat of the car with a friend when three men approached them, with one brandishing a pistol, the second man in the car told the police.
The two men left the vehicle without problems, but when the trio entered, one of the three men fired his gun, hit Matthews in the neck and killed him.
Police say he died from his injuries at the scene.

After taking off with Matthews' car, the three men drove to a nearby service station, with surveillance footage obtained by WSBTV showing that a man pays for the fuel before finding an empty plastic bottle in a nearby container .
Police say the man filled the bottle with gas before using it to set fire to the stolen car less than a mile from the service station.
East Point police spokeswoman Ebony Johnson says there is no reason why Matthews should die this week.
"It was not necessary for them to take their own lives," he told the station.
While it is believed that three of the men are directly involved in the theft of cars, the other two were also seen at the gas station that night and are believed to have information that could help the police (it is not known which of the men is suspect )
