Sunshine Coast CIB commander Daren Edwards said agents found a suicide note in the car.

The same letter was also found in a home that ‘indicated’ the crash could have been a murder suicide, the Courier mail reports.

Senior Sergeant Edwards said the man had a “well-known” construction company.

Anyone with dashcam footage of the crash or the moments before it has been urged to contact the police.
