Woman falls to death on McKenzie saddle walking track in Buangla

A woman has died after falling 50 meters from the top of a popular lookout on the NSW south coast.
Emergency services were called to a lookout along McKenzie’s Saddle Walking Track in Buangla shortly before midday on Monday.
Police emergency services and the toll helicopter were dispatched before the body of a woman was found a short time later under the remote lookout.
A woman has died after falling 50 meters from the top of a popular lookout on the NSW south coast.
A police rescue operation is currently underway to recover the woman’s body, with officers also expected to prepare a report for the coroner.
Located inland from Nowra, the McKenzie Lookout and Hiking Trail is considered a lesser known trail and offers views of the Yalwal State Forest.
