The two-hour documentary contains new interviews with Alana Stewart, close friend of Fawcett who helped record her cancer fight for the two-hour documentary Farrah & # 39; s Story; Bruce McBroom, the Hollywood photographer who shot Fawcett's iconic bathing suit poster; Mela Murphy, Fawcett & # 39; s confidant and hair stylist; and Dr. Lawrence Piro, the primary physician of Fawcett; and Dr. Ursula Jacob, the doctor of Fawcett in Germany who used alternative treatments for her cancer. The documentary also contains the historical interviews of Barbara Walters with Fawcett and with Ryan O & # 39; Neal, Fawcett's partner at the time of her death.

Fawcett was first diagnosed with rectal cancer in 2006 and had surgery to remove a tumor that year. But a year later, the cancer had returned and had spread to her liver.

In 2007 she traveled to Germany to get more aggressive treatments, but it was not effective and the actress finally died in 2009.
