Having been raised in a ‘very religious’ family, Titus continued to live as simply as possible.
Her expenses include $90 a month for a landline phone, which has been installed in a shed next to her RV so she can share it with a neighbor.
Then she spends about $20 a month on food for her dogs Sadie and Spartacus and another $30 on items she can’t grow, like bananas and Himalayan salt.

Although her parents have a computer and electricity, she decided to take things even further down to basics.
He says that he lives similarly to the Amish community, but does not follow their religion and practices pure Christianity instead.
Adding to the mystery, he does not have an official form of identification.
His parents got him a social security number when he was a child, but he never signed it and later decided to revoke it.
Then her birth certificate was washed away in a flood and she has never had a driver’s license.
He tells viewers, “I don’t exist in the eyes of the government, but I do exist in the lives of people who know me and my Father in heaven.”

At the beginning of the documentary, the outdoorsman gives viewers a quick tour of his small house. He explains that he’s a little messed up, since he’s had a friend stay with him.

He shows documentary filmmaker Peter that one of his favorite foods consists of red potatoes, purple onions, and kale with a sprinkle of Himalayan pink salt for flavor.
He says his plant-based diet hasn’t affected his athleticism, and throughout the documentary he demonstrates his strength, doing everything from climbing trees, to rolling backwards off his horse, to climbing a rope in the attic of his barn.
Titus also says that he is generally in good health and has not been ill at all this year, ‘not even a stuffy nose’.
He explains, “My thinking is to eat a lot of healthy food, breathe fresh air, try to see God, exercise, and do things that build your immune system so that your immune system is strong enough.”

There is a small latrine for a toilet, and Titus has dammed the stream, so a deeper pool of water serves as a bath.
This is fine during the summer months, but during the winter it can get a bit chilly.
When it gets colder, Titus also starts wearing shoes again, as he says it’s “unhealthy” to go barefoot when it’s cold.
Content with his farm, Titus says that there are a couple of things that would be useful.
First off, he says a fridge would be ‘handy’ since he currently has to keep produce cool in the creek.
He explains: ‘I can put stuff in the stream and it will stay overnight. For example, if I have any leftover beans or something, I can put them in a pot in the creek and they will keep well overnight.
But over a refrigerator, Titus’ greatest wish is to find someone to share his life with.
As she rides in her horse-drawn carriage, which she uses instead of a car, she reflects, “I think the only thing I’m really missing is someone to share this life with me and the children.”

However, since he’s working the land most days, he says it’s unlikely he’ll reply and it’s best to leave a voicemail.
As a further lure for any potential love interest, she says of her hidden plot: “I wake up in the morning and there’s a green hill on that side and there’s a green hill on that side and I’ve got my own peaceful little valley.” here.’
