Farmer Wants A Wife producers reportedly regret allowing the cast to use social media while on the show, after the stars went “rogue” and spoke out online.

A source told this week’s newspaper Women’s day magazine. The producers’ remorse intensified after farmer Bert Harris approached several of their parties after the show.

“She initially contacted Karli, Brooke and Caitlin via their Instagram (accounts) to make sure they were okay,” adding that for the first time Channel Seven allowed the cast to use their social media while on the show.

“In most of these shows, you hand over passwords and account details and the networks don’t return them until after they air,” they added.

“I think (the producers) will go back to the old system next year since they couldn’t control the elements.”

Meanwhile, Farmer Todd’s love interest Daisy Lamb also went “dishonest” against the matchmaking series on social media, revealing her shocking take on the show.

The gym manager, 28, made the bold claim that her budding romance with farmer Todd was edited as ‘nonsense’ in an attempt to discredit her.

‘It’s heavily edited. “This wasn’t the conversation, I’m so disappointed in Seven for even making this nonsense public,” Daisy commented in an Instagram clip posted by the network.

‘Upset. This is all I can say. I’m absolutely sick that not only me, but Todd’s friends and family have been portrayed as something we’re not.’

Lamb also publicly lashed out at several of her romantic rivals, accusing them of not liking Farmer Todd for the right reasons.

“The fact that the girls refer to this as a ‘game’ and a ‘competition’ should shed light on what they were there for,” he began.

‘Todd is not a prize that anyone can win, he wanted to find love. Jacinta and I are not friends. He would never drag someone down for personal gain.

The latest series of Farmer Wants A Wife has been marked by contestants fighting each other, with Daisy’s rival Jacinta calling her out on camera, accusing her of “love bombing” farmer Todd.

‘She’s quite possessive of him. Todd is able to see Daisy in a different light when he is with her. He doesn’t have the full story. He deserves to know the truth,’ Jacinta said.

Daisy’s shocking claims may have stunned Channel Seven producers, and last week she also took to social media to launch an extraordinary attack on the show.
