Sara Carey and Farmer Wants A Wife’s Joe Bobbin have announced their separation.
The couple, who met on the last series of the Channel Seven show, revealed they had split after months of dating.
Sarah, 31, confirmed on her Instagram Story on Monday that she and Joe, 33, have been “separated for weeks.”
“I was really hoping I wouldn’t have to do this as I’m a very private person, but it’s incredibly difficult to heal while constantly receiving questions and comments about the status of my relationship,” Sarah wrote.
‘Joe and I broke up a few weeks ago.’
‘This has been one of the most difficult times of my life, so I want to sincerely thank everyone who has sent me kind messages, asked me how I am, and welcomed me into this community.’
‘It’s been difficult without my friends and family around me, but the kindness they’ve shown me is something I’ll never forget.’
Sarah added that she was not ready to make the reasons for the split public as she was still “processing” the information.

“I understand there may be a lot of questions about why, but I’m not ready to talk about that right now because I’m still processing the information,” she said.
“I really appreciate you respecting my privacy.”
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Joe Bobbin for comment.
Rumours of a split between Sarah and Joe first surfaced in May after the final episode of Farmer Wants A Wife showed Joe attending his best friend’s wedding without Sarah.
Joe is close friends with FWAW 2021 star Andrew Guthrie, and sweet scenes from his wedding to Jess Nathan aired after the 2024 bride and groom made their decisions.
But livestock manager Sarah was notably absent from the ceremony – instead Joe video-called her from the wedding, sparking rumours that they had split.
Sarah, 31, confirmed on her Instagram Story on Monday that she and Joe, 33, have been “separated for weeks.”
Sarah responded to the rumors at the time, revealing that she and Joe were still together and saying that producers told her not to attend so as not to reveal her fate to fans.
“Joe and I are trying to navigate our new relationship, everything is so new,” she confirmed to 7News in a new interview.
‘(The producers) didn’t want to reveal the ending, which is totally understandable.
‘It was always understood that whoever ended up with Joe couldn’t leave because they didn’t know the deadlines yet (for the series to air).’
Sarah said she was told at the last minute that she could attend the wedding, but she had just started a new job near Joe’s farm in Bombala, New South Wales, and couldn’t take time off.
“This has been one of the most difficult times of my life, so I want to sincerely thank those who have sent me kind messages, reached out to me, and welcomed me into this community,” she said.
The news comes after FWAW presenter Samantha Armytage revealed she would be leaving the Seven Network on Sunday.
Armytage, 47, has rejected a new deal with Seven after his current contract expires in October. The Daily Telegraph reported.
Describing the departure as “sad and bittersweet,” she told the publication she felt her time had come and was excited about her future.
“I go by instinct a lot. I listen to my gut. I know when it’s time. I’m proud that I’ve supported myself enough to say, ‘I’ve done what I can do here,’ and move on,” she said.
“This is not the end. It’s just the end of this chapter.”
Armytage will still appear at the upcoming Logies, with his show Farmer Wants A Wife nominated for Best Structured Reality Programme, but he will not be returning to present the show’s next series, which is currently in pre-production.
The reality show’s original host, Natalie Gruzlewski, will return.
