Week 8 wasn’t the craziest kicking day this fantasy football season. We didn’t get any 20-point scorers after it seemed like kickers were scoring more than position players earlier in the season. But we did get a 16-point scorer and a 15-point scorer: San Francisco 49ers kicker Anders Carlson and Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott, respectively.
It’s a good day at the office when your fantasy kicker can give you 10 fantasy points, so when Elliott gives you 15 on a day when the Eagles lost 37 points, you’re very happy.
We’ll take what we can get at the kicker position, even if it’s been surprisingly high this season.
