Fantasy football rankings 2024: Top RBs, according to our experts

Christian McCaffrey is expected to be the No. 1 pick at running back (and the No. 1 overall pick, overall) for fantasy purposes. That’s not a surprise, though we could see some movement in his ADP if fantasy managers panic over McCaffrey’s calf injury announced before their Week 1 preseason game. But assuming McCaffrey is still on top (which it appears he will be, as his ailment appears minor and he’s already been reported to be ready for Week 1), which running back will go No. 2?

How about Breece Hall or Bijan Robinson? Two young, electrifying running backs who have been selected back-to-back as RB2 and RB3 in drafts so far this season? Is there really a wrong answer here?

You can make a well-thought-out argument for either of them to be selected as the RB2. Or, if you don’t feel like making your own argument, you can read the arguments our analysts made for each, as Dalton Del Don (backing Hall) and Andy Behrens (backing Robinson) defended “their guys” in the latest edition of our fantasy football draft debates.

For what it’s worth, scouts are siding with Hall as the RB2 according to Yahoo ADP.

Unfortunately, Hall vs. Robinson won’t be the only tough decision you’ll have to make during the draft process. But don’t worry. Our team of fantasy football analysts is here to help and will give you their half-point-per-reception running back rankings.
