While MasterChef Australia’s new hosts were largely praised by viewers, there was some criticism of Judge Andy Allen.

And since the elimination of Poh Ling Yeow in the Sunday night episode, there have been new calls for the 47-year-old cook to replace Andy on the panel.

In a Facebook group dedicated to the Channel 10 cooking show, a viewer wrote, “Poh should have been one of the judges instead of Andy.”

The post received a deluge of appointments from other members of the group.

However, there were some fans who defended Andy, one of whom said, “Absolutely not, Andy is okay.”

It comes after Andy received criticism from viewers about his style of criticism.

Despite this, Andy and his fellow MasterChef judges, Melissa Leong and Jock Zonfrillo, are a hit with viewers this season.
