Fans of America’s Next Top Model point to ‘problematic’ surfaced episodes
Fans of America’s Next Top Model have pointed to “problematic” content from surfaced episodes of the reality show.
Earlier this year, the show came under fire for incidents involving a blackface photo shoot, a grieving model forced to pose in a chest, and Tyra Banks’ criticism of a contestant’s natural split tooth.
The show’s former presenter, Tyra, 46, was forced to apologize for her ‘insensitive’ behavior from the past and said she had made some ‘really wrong choices’ that she now disagreed with.
However, it seems that these weren’t the only scenes that troubled viewers, with TikTok users from the US and the UK sharing several videos of scenes in which contestants were derided and derided at the show.
One model was criticized for trying to prove her Africanness with her choice of clothing, while another was told to be less candid about her sexuality.

After questioning Isis if she was a “born woman” because of the size of her breasts, a contestant named Casey asks, “Is it true … are you all women?”
After revealing that she was a transgender woman, the same contestant in the camera journal is heard to say, “Shouldn’t this be a girls’ contest, how did you get through the door?”
Another contestant, Clarke, adds, “If I have to get along with Isis, I will, but if it comes between me and my goal of winning, I’ll kick that man straight out of the league. ‘

Commenting on the video, a shocked user exclaimed, “As if she is DRIVING a GIRAFFE. How was this show ever supposed to be broadcast? ‘
Another said, “Poor thing, she was mad and held back her tears. She had every right to be angry. Incredible from the shows. ‘
Next, Kim Stolz, a fifth-series gay contestant on the show, came into a clip shared by an American user, who was told to reduce her sexuality after revealing that she was a proud lesbian.

Host Tyra replied, “I think there’s something to be proud of, like I’m black and proud. But I don’t like walking the red carpet [saying] “I’m black, I’m black,” you know what I’m saying? ‘
Meanwhile, Tyra was seen in a different scene cheating a group of girls into thinking they’d made the next round when they didn’t, repeatedly insulting a model for ‘dead behind the eyes’ in a shoot.
User Brooke then posted a surfaced clip in which Xiomara Frans, a contestant from the second season of the show, was offended by judges J. Alexander and Nigel Barker for her “bugged eyes.”
