John Krasinski was named People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive of 2024 on the Late Show with Steven Colbert on Tuesday night.
The heartthrob, 45, dethroned the 2023 winner, Grey’s Anatomy heartthrob Patrick Dempsey, 58, for the coveted title.
Colbert previously awarded the title, chosen based on physical attractiveness, charisma and cultural impact, to Paul Rudd in 2021, after putting him through a series of fun sexy man tests.
The crown was then presented to Captain America star Chris Evans, 43.
After Krasinski was announced as this year’s winner, fans had a divided reaction on social media.

The Grammy-nominated producer, 36, happily opened up about his secrets to success in life and love, and discussed his romantic mornings with the actress, 32, in the article.
After it was revealed that he would be part of the problem, fans had a mixed response.
