Fans had fun mocking James Harden’s reaction when his girlfriend Paije Speights caught the bouquet at a wedding.
In the viral video, the bouquet toss ended in the back of the room where Harden and Speights were. After the ceremony’s coveted award fell to the ground, Speights picked it up, prompting Harden’s hilarious reaction.
As Speights excitedly hugged Harden, the LA Clippers star stood rigid with a dead look in his eyes.
“Bro is avoiding a ring at all costs,” one fan joked, referencing Harden’s tendency to play poorly in the postseason.
“Definitely changing her to avoid that ring,” said another.

Harden shared a selfie of Speights, adorned with a red heart emoji. Meanwhile, Speights posted a photo of Haden and captioned it: “One.”
The point guard is approaching his 18th NBA season this year and his second with the Clippers.

After stints with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets and a messy divorce with the Philadelphia 76ers, Harden was granted his wish and transferred to his chosen destination.
Along with Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, Harden averaged 16.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 8.5 assists for the Clippers.
They took fourth place in the Western Conference with a 51-31 record before falling to the Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the playoffs.
