Indy Clinton fans were outraged after the mommy blogger announced she would be taking a break

Indy Clinton fans were left furious after the mommy blogger announced she was taking a “break from social media,” only for her husband to take over filming.

The 26-year-old social media star has gained a legion of 1.9 million followers on TikTok with her videos documenting her husband Ben Azar’s everyday family life.

She often shares sweet videos of her children Navy, three, Bambi, one, and Soul, six months, and talks about the realities of being a mother of three little ones.

But she has been absent from her pages for the past week to take a ‘social media break’, previously revealing she would return to the platform on August 9.

A statement on her Instagram bio reads: ‘I’ll be MIA from August 25th to August 9th, don’t miss me too much.’

However, while she hasn’t been active on her Instagram, her husband Ben has started posting family updates on his TikTok in recent days.

Ben, nicknamed Big Ed because he reminds fans of the 90 Day Fiancé star, returned to the platform on Monday to take over his regular programming.

She has since posted a second vlog, giving fans a series of updates on her family life as she cradled baby Soul and spoke to the camera in the footage.

Taking to her social media, she shared: ‘You know Indy doesn’t have social media which is good for her, I’m just taking this on, I’m of the opinion that nobody gives a shit but in case you do.’

In one video, Indy can be heard off-camera talking to Ben while remaining somewhat involved in the daily videos, despite her break from social media.

But fans had very mixed reactions when Ben took over their posts, as they urged the family to just “get off their phones” and stay off social media altogether.

“They just need to put down their phones and be a family without vlogging for once. Surely it’s not that hard,” one wrote on a Reddit forum.

“I thought she was out for ‘work’ and when I realized it was just a break from her real appearance I thought… HOW TO KEEP YOURSELF IN CONTROL,” another person shared.

“It’s about getting attention. It’s like when people go on the Internet and look for attention and validation,” said a third.

However, other fans flocked to Indy’s support, telling how entertained they were by Ben’s take on Indy’s daily vlogs, particularly when he burned the vegetables while trying to cook dinner.

“I look forward to these vlogs everyday. They’re great. We miss you Indy,” wrote one, while another said: “Ben is actually a very good vlogger!”

A third commented: “Burnt vegetables are killing me,” while a fourth wrote: “It’s okay, but I actually love vegetables like this.”

“I love this new perspective,” said a fifth, with another adding: “It’s lovely to see this family again, I’ve missed them.”
