This year’s Heidi Klum Halloween costume has all her fans saying the same thing: that Janelle Monáe did it first.
After the Queen of Halloween debuted her and husband Tom Kaulitz’s hyper-realistic ET costumes, fans took to social media with reactions.
Many fans pointed out that Monáe, 38, debuted an ET costume the day before Klum revealed her own look at her annual Halloween party in New York City on October 31.
Some social media users took to X, formerly Twitter, to say that Klum ‘stole’ Monáe’s look.
Others theorized that the model must have been “upset” or “furious” when she realized someone else “did it first” even though she had already spent almost a year wearing her ET costume.

Just that same day, Monae revealed her ET costume when she made an appearance on the Jennifer Hudson Show.
Even though Monae’s costume featured less prosthetics and looked more like a suit and mask to put on, many fans were stunned by the fact that they had the exact same idea.
Last year, fans also joked that Monáe upstaged Klum by dressing up as a chameleon in an incredible full-body transformation after turning heads with her looks in previous years.
In 2023, Klum recruited nine acrobats to join her in becoming a giant peacock costume.

Another user once again reiterated that Monae already dressed up as ET but said Klum’s costume was “cool.”

She made her grand arrival at their famous annual Halloween soirée alongside the musician, 35, dressed as the alien from the 1982 cult classic film, ET the Extra-Terrestrial.
The couple transformed into Steven Spielberg’s ET, before and after landing on Earth and being disguised by the little boys, Elliot and Gertie.
She proved that the Halloween Queen crown is still hers as she walked the red carpet at her party, which was held at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City.
Now in his 23rd year, he attempted the monumental feat of surpassing his countless incredible costumes from many Halloweens past.
Some of her most memorable and recent looks include her 2022 hyper-realistic slippery worm look and her 2023 transformation into a stunning peacock with the help of nine acrobats dressed as her claws and feathers.
