What is the Peloton app?
Access to the Peloton app is free for All-Access members, but costs $16.99 for non-bike owners. It provides anywhere, anytime access to the entire content library and includes workouts in a variety of categories, including indoor cycling, running, bootcamp, walking, strength, stretching, cardio, barre, Pilates, yoga, and meditation.
However, with the average member attending 26 classes per month, it is significantly cheaper than the average gym membership and much more convenient.
Peloton was founded in New York City in 2021, when CEO John Foley struggled to fit studio gym classes into his busy schedule with two kids at home.
He wanted to bring in the benefits of studio-style classes so that people could access their motivation, music, power and intensity anytime, anywhere.
