The Kidman family gathered on Tuesday to say a heartfelt farewell to their beloved matriarch, Janelle Kidman, who passed away at the age of 84.
At the funeral, held at Sydney’s St Francis Xavier Church, the famous family united in grief and offered each other emotional support during the somber occasion.
Nicole and Keith Urban’s daughters Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 14, were seen spending time with their cousins Lucia, 26, Hamish, 23, and Sybella, 17, daughters of Nicole’s sister Nicole, Antonia, and her late husband, Angus Hawley.
Antonia shares another son, James, with Angus, who died in 2015 of a suspected heart attack, while she welcomed two more sons, Nicholas and Alexander, with her second husband, Craig Marran.
Rarely seen all together, the cousins exemplified their very close bond as they all shared close hugs and comforted each other upon their arrival at the church.
During a touching moment, Hamish was seen hugging a tearful Sunday as she became overcome with emotion, while Lucia also exchanged some heartfelt words with her.
The cousins remained closely grouped throughout the ceremony, showing their solidarity as they faced the loss of their grandmother.
Hollywood star Nicole, 57, was also seen arriving at the funeral earlier in the day, visibly emotional as she was supported by her husband Keith Urban.

The cousins, including Antonia’s daughters Sybella and Lucia, and Nicole’s daughters Sunday and Faith, were captured on their feet, all showing their support for each other that day.
During a touching moment, Lucia was seen exchanging some heartfelt words with Sunday as she broke down in tears.
Her younger sister Antonia, 53, was also present along with her loving husband Craig Morran, who was seen comforting her outside the church.
Also in attendance were Australian television presenter Peter Overton, his wife Jessica Rowe and their daughters Allegra and Giselle.
The Overton and Kidman-Urban clan have shared a close relationship over the years, even ringing in the New Year together at the famous family’s multi-million dollar penthouse in North Sydney on January 1, 2023.
The reunion took place at the same church where Nicole’s father, Antony Kidman, was buried in 2014, adding even more emotional weight to the occasion.
Antony died of a suspected heart attack in Singapore at the age of 75, and the Kidmans said goodbye to him in a more public funeral, with many famous names, including Russell Crowe, paying their respects.

Sunday chatted with her cousins Lucia and Sybella and became very emotional after the service.
Lucía, also dressed in black, is seen holding a white bag and maintaining a serene expression, although the weight of the day’s sadness is clear in her behavior.
Lucia was a pillar of support for Sunday all day as she stood firmly by his side.
The cousins were seen arriving at the church together for the service as they showed off their close bond.

Janelle passed away last month at the age of 84, just hours before Nicole received the Best Actress award for her work in Babygirl at the Venice Film Festival.
The Big Little Lies star was forced to leave the A-list event due to the disturbing news and instead accepted her award through a speech read on her behalf.
“Today I arrived in Venice and shortly after found out that my beautiful and brave mother Janelle Ann Kidman has just passed away,” Nicole revealed in a statement read by director Halina Reijn following her victory.
‘I’m shocked and I have to go to my family, but this award is for her, she formed me, guided me and made me.
‘I am beyond grateful to be able to say her name to all of you through Halina, the collision of life and art is heartbreaking, and my heart is broken. We love you all.’
Keith held the car door for her as she arrived to join her family and say goodbye to her beloved matriarch Janelle.
Nicole cut a sophisticated figure in a black dress with white lace trim, which she wore with black heels and a smart jacket to the funeral.

A week later, Nicole and her sister Antonia shared a touching tribute to their late mother on Instagram and posted several never-before-seen family photos.
In the post, the Perfect Couple star thanked her millions of fans and followers for expressing their condolences during her time of grieving.
“My sister and I, along with our family, want to thank you for the outpouring of love and kindness we have felt this week,” Nicole wrote in the joint statement.
‘Every message we have received from those who loved and admired our Mother has meant more to us than we will ever be able to express. Thank you from our entire family for respecting our privacy while we take care of each other.’
