Here, the judge from My Kitchen Rules revealed his cooking method surprisingly easy, with a crispy touch for the classic dish.

- Grated lemon
- Panko crumbs
- Mustard seeds
Appearing on The Morning Show with her daughters Lily and Maeve, Colin joked: "Three Fassnidges in the same room, what could go wrong?"
He explained how his chicken schnitzel recipe has been a favorite of the crowd at home and in his restaurants.
"We do it at home and we do it in restaurants and kids love this, I try to be a little healthy," he said.
Combine panko crumbs, half of the herbs, oats and mustard seeds in a tray.
In a bowl, mix eggs, buttermilk, garlic and other herbs. And in another bowl, combine flour, oats and mustard seeds.
"So, what we do is get our flour, we're going to strain some mustard seeds and strain some oatmeal," he said.

The author of the cookbook explained that the oatmeal adds an extra crunch to the chicken.
Before starting to cook, Colin said he would write down the chicken pieces before sprinkling them on the flour.
The popular chef cooks the chicken pieces in the egg mixture and then covers them with panko crumbs.
Then, heat a large skillet over medium heat. Lightly fry the chicken pieces in vegetable oil so that the oil reaches half. Cook until golden brown.
Colin said he serves chicken schnitzel with lemon and an apple slaw salad.
