Anna Delvey, known for scamming people by posing as a German heiress, has reportedly been cast in the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars.
On Friday, Page six The 33-year-old scammer has been granted permission to travel to Los Angeles for the competition series after the terms of her house arrest were modified, the statement said.
The fraudster, who was played by actress Julia Garner in the Netflix miniseries Inventing Anna, was jailed in 2019 for her crimes.
In 2022, he began house arrest while he waited to find out if he would be allowed to remain in the United States after serving his full prison sentence.
She was recently allowed to start working again and travel within a 70-mile radius of where she lives on the East Coast.

In addition, Anna was given a Social Security number and allowed to use social media again.
This won’t be the first time a Dancing With The Stars contestant has spent time behind bars.
Rapper Lil Kim, comedian Tommy Chong and artist Steve O previously joined the series after serving their sentences.
Delvey, however, is the first star to be known solely for his conviction.
She returned to Instagram last week after her two-year ban on online platforms ended.
The media personality quickly amassed more than a million followers while promoting an upcoming television show.
The show, which revolves around their most famous characteristics, will see contestants do their best to “cheat, lie and not let people see who they really are.”
He also ran a public relations firm, cheekily called OutLaw Agency.
The fraudster was jailed in 2019 for her crimes.

Delvey was portrayed by actress Julia Garner in the Netflix miniseries Inventing Anna.
As part of her return to the public eye, Anna will be producing shows for emerging designers during New York Fashion Week next month.
She continues to work on her memoirs and is hosting a talk show for production companies.
Delvey told the Daily Mail: ‘I’m grateful to be able to control my own narrative again.
“When my lawyers called me with the decision, it was overwhelming, a huge relief, the same kind of feeling I had when I got out of jail.”
She admitted: “I made mistakes, but I have grown and now I have a different mindset. I want to move forward with the rest of my life. I hope people see that I have changed and that I am not the same person, and give me the opportunity to move forward.”
